Bela Kis
Bela Kis is a full time Chess Teacher and for the past 10 years has been the Head Coach of New Hope Academy with notable team success at both State and National levels.

National Life Master Kis originated from Transylvania, Romania and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Robotics. Upon graduation, the National Life Master followed his true calling and moved to the USA to pursue tournament play and to promote chess at the grass roots level.
​
In tournament play notable successes include PA State Quick Chess Champion; World Open U2200 section Champion; and victory in the, North American Open U2300 section in Las Vegas.
​
To share his life passion, National Life Master Kis affiliated the Lower Bucks Chess Academy with the United State Chess Federation.
This way students of all abilities can pursue their passion for chess either for pure enjoyment via classes; compete in tournaments; and partake in summer camps.
The Pennsylvania State Chess Federation has awarded Lower Bucks Chess Academy 1st Place for the Best Chess Club Team at the Pennsylvania State Scholastic Championship.

His hobbies include, dancing, traveling the world, soccer, roller hockey, table tennis, tennis and swimming.
