LBCA offers in-person classes for both youth and adults at our Bensalem location every Thursday nights. Classes for beginners are held from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. In the Beginner Class students will learn how to move the pieces and basic strategies and tactics. The beginner class features no rated tournament games, and is more casual than the advanced class. The class is taught by National Master Bela Kis.

The Advanced Class for youth and adults is held from 7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. and includes USCF Rated Games. Participants go over master games, learn basic tactics, strategies, and plans, learn how to assess positions, and learn endgame principles and strategies. There will be structured lessons along with supervised play during the class. The class is taught by NM Bela Kis.

At LBCA, we welcome players of all levels, from beginners to advanced. The Advanced Class is divided into two groups, one youth-only beginners group, and an open advanced group for all ages. The only requirement for joining the advanced group is attaining a USCF rating of 800.
